Fall Network Lineups
The four big networks have all released their upcoming fall schedules. Here are all of the daily lineups. It looks like everyone is going to be testing a good amount of new material.
Most interesting will be to see how NBC replaces The Office and 30Rock in their Must See TV Thursday lineup.

Cardinal Cotton Clothing Co. is a NC owned and operated clothing company that produces some really cool, NC themed t-shirts. Be sure to check out their full story on their website. These guys are trying to bring textiles back to NC, one awesome shirt at a time!
What Makes NC Great? TV SHOWS!
In case you missed it last week, NSN covered NC’s growing movie industry. Predictably, the television industry in the Tar Heel State is growing as well. Back in the heyday of the WB/CW, NC’s television industry was almost synonyms with teen dramas (Dawson’s Creek, One Tree Hill).
Today, NC is cranking out more adult hits. Revolution, Homeland, and Banshee are already hits for NBC, Showtime, and Cinemax respectively. Those three shows are filmed across the state, all the way from Wilmington to Charlotte.
CBS’s upcoming Under The Dome and FOX’s Sleepy Hollow are also being filmed here in NC as well. Under The Dome starts June 13 and Sleepy Hollow has recently been added to FOX’s fall schedule.
Official Agents of SHIELD Trailer
Not surprisingly, after the Agents of SHIELD trailer was leaked last week, Disney went ahead and officially released the trailer. It will be cool to see what they will do with this show and what heroes will be making cameos.
It will be interesting to see how the current Marvel universe makes the transition to the small screen. We will all find out this September when Agents of SHIELD debuts on ABC.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows
Here is a video of the upcoming TMNT downloadable game from IGN. This looks like it may be the best TMNT game since thee classic arcade side scroller.
The It Crowd Gets One More Episode!
The cult British series will reunite for just one more show later this year. If you are unfamiliar with the show, you can watch all four seasons on Netlix or HuluPlus.
The Show centers around two IT guys and their non-IT supervisor. It fits somewhere between the Office and Community, and is absolutely hilarious. The show airs on Channel 4 in the UK, so there is no telling how long it might take for the new and final episode to make its way over to the US. Hopefully, Hulu and/or Netflix can work out a deal to stream it pretty quickly after it airs.
If you haven’t seen it yet, here is the latest trailer for this summer’s Superman film, Man of Steel

IRON MAN 3!!!
Tonight is the night! Iron Man 3 premieres tonight at midnight! (As early as 9 at some theaters). Iron Man 3 marks the beginning of Marvel’s second phase of movies, and the first Marvel film since last years mega-blockbuster, The Avengers.
North Carolinians have even more reason to be excited about Tony Stark’s third adventure. The movies was filmed in Wilmington as well as the Raleigh/Durham area. Specifically, the facilities of SAS Software in Apex, NC were used in the film, presumably for Stark Industries. The film was NC’s largest film production to date.
This week MNP LLC released a report showing the spending that Iron Man 3 did in the Tar Heel State. According to the report, IM3 spent $179.8 million and employed 2,043 people. The report also found that the movie was responsible for over $104 million in labor income and engaged 719 vendors in 84 communities across the state.
Iron Man 3 opens this weekend, and after its expected success, hopefully more films see the advantages of filming in the Old North State!
Chris Hardwick to Host Yet Another Show
The Nerdist himself, Chris Hardwick, will begin hosting a new talk show on Comedy Central this fall. The show is being produced by Hardwick himself, along with Funny or Die. The show will air after the Colbert Report at midnight and seems to be formatted very much like Hardwick’s AMC show Talking Dead and his BBC America show, The Nerdist. It will be a comedic panel show, heavily integrated with social media.
I am sure Chris will keep to his nerd roots and feature lots of nerdy guests and fun! Keep an eye out for more info on this currently untitled show as the premiere dates draws closer.
